Avra Cottage is designed to incorporate both the old genuine farmhouse and the newly built addition into an eclectic blend of rustic and traditional décor. Entering into a small room used as an entry hall, several small stairways lead in different directions and levels leading to different parts of the house. The sitting room is found down a few stairs on the ground floor and has a corner fireplace and views from its French doors out to the private pool. The fully equipped kitchen is located at one end of the room and the casual furnishings are arranged for maximum comfort.

The level above the sitting room is the master bedroom furnished with a double bed and has French doors leading to a balcony with lovely views toward the sea and the neighbouring island of Alonissos. The modern and spacious w/c shower room is en-suite to the bedroom.

The oldest section of the cottage has a stone stairway leading from the entry hall to a lovely bedroom furnished with two twin beds. The original dark wooden floors and decorative fireplace are both re-furbished remnants of the original farmhouse along with the open beamed wooden ceiling. The views from this room are stunning and the many windows allow for a light and sunny atmosphere. The w/c shower room is situated in the entry hall and is again one of the re-furbished, but original sections of the house. The stone floor and low ceiling give an older touch to the updated fixtures.

Avra Cottage exterior areas are some of its best features. Its lone location on a small bluff allows for stunning views in all directions and lots of sunny spaces. It is surrounded by mature olive, walnut, almond, cypress, plum and fig trees which add to the character of the property which reveals itself as a working farmhouse. Its hillside location enjoys light summer breezes from the sea that keep the temperatures pleasant even in the height of the season. The recent addition of the private swimming pool adds the best of both worlds, old and new.
